Job summary

Deloitte Global is seeking a seasoned DevOps/Cloud Engineer to lead deployment, release, and operational support for multi-environment apps. You will design pipelines, containerize workloads, and manage cloud infrastructure across Azure or AWS.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Kubernetes and Azure DevOps experience, strong scripting skills, and a solid grasp of networking, IAM, and security practices. This role emphasizes reliability, performance, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or SRE
• Hands-on with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards)
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
• Experience with Docker and container deployment
• Experience administering Kubernetes
• Knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform or Bicep
• Understanding of networking, IAM, security, and cloud cost optimization
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools

Responsibilities

• Own deployment, release, configuration, and on-call support across environments
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Deploy and manage containerized apps on Kubernetes
• Provision and manage cloud infra using Azure or AWS services
• Automate infrastructure and operations using scripting and IaC
• Implement monitoring, logging, backup, and DR practices
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, infra, and production issues
• Improve availability, scalability, security, and performance
• Establish deployment standards, branching, rollback, and env controls
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and product teams
• Participate in on-call and root-cause analysis
