Job summary

Deloitte seeks a Senior Engineering Management Specialist - DevOps Engineer to join its Industry Solutions team in Virginia. You will deploy, manage, and optimize AWS infrastructure and lead CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runners to support automated builds and deployments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, security, and platform health, while guiding engineers and coordinating multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles supporting AWS environments.
• 1+ years provisioning AWS environments and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and deployments.
• 1+ years building, maintaining, and releasing deployments across environments.
• 1+ years with OpenShift, Docker, GitLab Runners, and AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS infrastructure for the client, including OpenShift clusters.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab Runners for automated builds and deployments.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and security; address reliability and availability issues.
• Manage AWS services including Batch, Secrets Manager, SNS, S3, CloudTrail, Route 53, CloudFront, ALB, Lambda, Step Functions.
• Collaborate with development, quality engineering, and infrastructure teams to improve workflows and documentation.
