Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to maintain and improve the platform underpinning AI and enterprise systems. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and hybrid deployments spanning cloud and on-premise environments.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps, strong Azure expertise, and hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools. A hybrid work model in York, PA is available with relocation support as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform, SRE, or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on Azure experience across compute, networking, identity, data services, and monitoring.
• Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions with pipelines, approvals, and self-hosted agents.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Scripting in Python and PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience deploying into hybrid environments with on-premise and cloud resources.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD pipelines and release engineering across environments.
• Build and maintain AI platform infrastructure and inference endpoints.
• Manage the Azure platform, including compute, networking, data services, and security.
• Ensure reliability and security with incident response, SLOs, and monitoring.
• Collaborate to reduce toil and accelerate safe, automated deployments.
