Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Senior Integration Developer to design and deliver enterprise-grade integration solutions using Azure Integration Services. You will own low-level designs, build scalable APIs with APIM, and drive CI/CD automation while mentoring the team.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with leads and architects, and ensure performance, security, and governance across projects, contributing to AI-driven development practices.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of hands-on integration development in complex delivery environments.
• Deep expertise in Azure Integration Services (AIS).
• Advanced experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
• Strong coding in C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON, XML.
• Proven ability to own Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and contribute to High-Level Designs (HLDs).
• Experience with event-driven, distributed, microservices architectures.
• Hands-on CI/CD using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Debugging, performance optimization, and production support.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development (GitHub Copilot / M365 Copilot).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of large-scale integration solutions using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Functions, Data Factory, Service Bus, Event Grid).
• Design, implement, and govern APIs with Azure API Management (APIM).
• Own Low-Level Design for modules and components; translate requirements into scalable designs.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and IaC for reliable releases.
• Lead testing strategies and production support for critical issues.
• Improve observability with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Leverage AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery and documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and code reviews; mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with Leads, Architects, QA, DevOps and stakeholders.
