Job summary

mPulse is a leader in conversational AI and member engagement for healthcare, seeking a DevOps Engineer III to support the DevOps strategy and build scalable AWS infrastructure. You will collaborate across engineering, operations, and security to enable rapid, reliable software delivery.

The role includes mentoring junior team members, managing GitHub repos, enforcing code review standards, and participating in on-call incident response in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience communicating with product developers, direct manager, and engineering peers to craft solutions.
• Able to respond to Bugs / hotfixes promptly.
• Have successfully released production code.
• Able to articulate mPulse business and client base.
• Contribute regularly to technical discussions.
• Demonstrated repeated technical project success.
• Effective use of development environment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the company's DevOps strategy
• Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure fast, confident production delivery
• Design and deploy scalable, highly available infrastructure on AWS using Nomad, Consul, Vault and Terraform
• Integrate engineering work into the DevOps pipeline for efficiency
• Manage the GitHub repository and enforce code review and branching best practices
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for incident response
• Coordinate with security/compliance teams to meet industry standards
• Provide guidance to junior DevOps engineers and mentor the team
• Perform other duties as assigned
