Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and maintain cloud infrastructure and secure deployment environments for mission applications.

The role emphasizes infrastructure as code, Kubernetes/OpenShift management, and automated security testing within AWS environments on an on-site Government facility in Charleston, SC. Collaboration with developers is essential to ensure scalable, reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT, information systems, or related field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph is required.
• Typically 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, and IAM.

Responsibilities

• Build, automate, and maintain AWS infrastructure for development, testing, and deployments.
• Develop infrastructure as code and automation to ensure repeatable configurations.
• Deploy and operate containerized apps with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Create CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and security checks.
• Configure and manage secret handling, registries, and environment configurations.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and incident response to ensure reliability.
• Support IL5 GovCloud deployments and DoD compliance considerations.
• Troubleshoot Linux, cloud networking, storage, and orchestration issues.
