Job summary

DAn Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, deploy, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure supporting mission applications and enterprise services. The role emphasizes hands-on AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, and DoD-level security in government environments.

Ideal candidates have DoD IC experience, strong Linux skills, and proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash. On-site work at a government facility is required, with Charleston, SC preferred or Washington,

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field.
• Typically 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Previous Intelligence Community experience.
• Hands-on AWS infrastructure experience (networking, compute, storage, IAM).
• Experience managing Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with Ansible, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience scripting with Python or Bash.
• Experience with Git and version-controlled infrastructure.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps practices.
• Agile Developer or Certified Scrum Developer certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code and Ansible automation for deployments.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated builds, tests, and security checks.
• Integrate automated security testing and vulnerability remediation into workflows.
• Support AWS GovCloud and DoD IL5 environments.
• Implement centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Manage platform access controls, secrets management, and certificates.
