Job summary

Qualifications

• 12-20 years' DevOps / infrastructure engineering experience in production environments.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience.
• Excellent Linux administration skills.
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines; GitLab CI/CD useful.
• Strong scripting with Bash and/or Python.
• Good understanding of cloud networking, routing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with web services such as NGINX, Apache and Tomcat.

Responsibilities

• Build, improve and extend AWS infrastructure for production apps.
• Manage Kubernetes environments and Helm charts.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Use Terraform and Ansible for reproducible environments.
• Enhance monitoring and logging for performance.
• Automate infrastructure with Bash and Python.
• Troubleshoot complex infra, networking and DB issues.
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve deployment processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and security.
• Support incident management and disaster recovery.
