Job summary

Apollo Solutions in New York is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join its technology team. You will work hands-on with AWS, Kubernetes, and Python to build infrastructure and automation for business-critical applications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering or SRE.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience, ideally within large enterprise environments.
• Advanced Python scripting and automation skills.
• Practical experience managing Kubernetes environments, preferably EKS.
• Experience using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling and automated deployment processes.
• Experience supporting containerised applications and microservices.
• Understanding of distributed systems, cloud networking and infrastructure security.
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting and production support.
• Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery and infrastructure resilience.
• Previous experience working within financial services is essential.
• Ability to collaborate with software engineers, infrastructure specialists and wider technology teams.
