New York / Stamford | Long-Term Contract | Potential to Convert Permanent

We are partnering with a leading global investment firm looking to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer into its infrastructure engineering team.

This is a hands-on engineering position within a globally distributed team responsible for building, automating and supporting highly available production infrastructure. The firm operates a modern Azure and Kubernetes-based environment and is looking for someone with strong infrastructure fundamentals who can work across cloud, containers, CI/CD and production reliability.

The position is initially a long-term contract opportunity, with the potential to transition into a permanent position over time.

The Role

You will work closely with infrastructure and development teams to improve the automation, reliability and scalability of the firm's technology environment. Responsibilities will include:

• Building and supporting Azure and Kubernetes/AKS infrastructure
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD and GitOps workflows
• Automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment processesSupporting highly available, business-critical production systems
• Monitoring production environments, troubleshooting issues and improving reliability
• Working with development teams to streamline build, testing and deployment processes
• Improving infrastructure-as-code, automation and DevSecOps practices
• Participating in production support and incident resolution

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps, SRE, Platform or Infrastructure Engineering experience
• Strong Kubernetes experience, ideally including AKS
• Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience, preferably Azure
• Strong Linux/Unix systems administration or infrastructure engineering foundations
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code

Location & Engagement

The team can accommodate candidates working from either New York City or Stamford, CT, with an expectation of office presence with hybrid nature.
