Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a motivated DevOps engineer to design, build, and deploy infrastructure in a hybrid AWS and Kubernetes environment. You will work on web integrations, predictive controllers, and new battery-based energy products, focusing on infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and scalable pipelines.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on AWS and Kubernetes experience, strong Python skills, and knowledge of CDK, Terraform, and containerization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on DevOps or similar role in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Leverage existing in-house AWS architectures and design new ones using CDK to manage AWS resources.
• Operationalize workloads in AWS and Kubernetes, design monitoring and deployment pipelines.
• Enhance build/test/deploy pipelines and partner with on-prem for hybrid infrastructure projects.
• Apply security best practices across infrastructure and code.
