Job summary

VTG Defense is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to automate infrastructure and enable big data analytics for the IC community. You will work with a cross-functional team of developers, engineers, network professionals, and data specialists to deliver scalable, secure systems.

Qualifications

10+ years of DevOps or full stack experience.
Experience with Bash scripting.
Experience working within AWS environments.
Experience with Linux administration and systems design.
Experience creating CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with network documentation including security compliance, configuration management, and patching.

Responsibilities

Deploy and provision AWS resources (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC) to support scalable architecture.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and GitHub.
Run vulnerability scans, apply patches, and maintain security compliance.
Design and maintain Kubernetes and EKS clusters for high availability and productivity.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure systems meet all requirements.
Recommend and implement process and policy improvements when approved.
