Job summary

OpenTalent in Maryland seeks a Senior DevOps/Cloud Architect to design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure with Terraform and automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Argo CD. You will optimize costs, lead sprint planning, and collaborate with development teams to ensure reliability and scalability.

Candidates should have a BS degree, 12+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud, and a TS/SCI Poly with CI poly within the last seven years.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related field and 12+ years of DevOps/Cloud experience.
• TS/SCI Poly with CI Poly within the last seven years.
• CWIP (DoD 8140) certificate is current.
• Strong AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes experience and security mindset.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure with IaC (Terraform).
• Develop and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Argo CD deployments.
• Lead sprint planning, track tasks, and align work with product needs.
• Optimize cloud costs and ensure system reliability and uptime.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve performance.
