Job summary

RCT Systems is seeking a DevOps candidate with deep AWS expertise, including CloudFormation and the AWS SDK, to build and maintain scalable infrastructure. The role emphasizes strong OOP skills in Ruby, Python, or Java, and hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines and CI/CD best practices.

The ideal candidate will have Docker and ECS experience, knowledge of Puppet, and the ability to collaborate across multiple engineering teams. A TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AWS experience with CloudFormation and AWS SDKs (Ruby, Python, Java).
• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
• 5+ years of Object Oriented Programming in Ruby, Python, Java, or NodeJS.
• Experience with Jenkins and pipelines; knowledge of CI/CD best practices.
• At least 1–2 years in Docker and container orchestration (Docker Compose, ECS).
• 5 years of Bash scripting experience.
• 2+ years experience with GitHub and branching strategies.
• Strong team player who can mentor and collaborate across teams.
