Job summary

RCT Systems is seeking a capable DevOps professional to support infrastructure as code and software engineering efforts. The role requires extensive AWS expertise, CloudFormation, and AWS SDK usage in Ruby, Python, or NodeJS, along with strong OOP skills and scripting.

The candidate should have Jenkins pipeline experience, Docker/Docker Compose, ECS familiarity, Bash scripting, and a collaborative, teachable approach to teamwork. TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years AWS experience including CloudFormation and AWS SDKs such as Ruby, Python, and Java.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• 5+ years of Object Oriented Programming background: Ruby, Python, Java, or NodeJS.
• Experience with Jenkins and creating Jenkins Pipelines while understanding CI/CD best practices.
• At least 1–2 years of Docker and container orchestration tools (Docker Compose, ECS).
• 5 years of Bash shell scripting.
• At least 2 years experience with GitHub and any branching strategy.
• Team player and collaborative mindset.
