Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, deployment, and operation of an enterprise Amazon Connect contact center platform using DevOps and SRE practices.

You will take solutions from concept to production while maturing IaC and CI/CD standards across the platform. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership, scalable architecture, API integrations, and automation to improve reliability and recovery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with Amazon Connect in enterprise environments.
• Strong AWS architecture experience, including serverless patterns.
• Experience building IaC with AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficient in designing CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Troubleshooting complex cloud, network, and application issues.
• Strong automation and scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ownership of an Amazon Connect platform from design to production.
• Design scalable Connect architecture, security controls, and ops processes.
• Develop and maintain IaC using CloudFormation to standardize environments.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Git-based workflows and governance.
• Automate deployments and operational tasks to improve reliability.
• Coordinate release management and cross-team reviews.
