Job summary

LiveRamp is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Platform and Identity Engineering team. You will help build and operate scalable, secure infrastructure for LiveRamp’s data collaboration platform, with a focus on multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

You will collaborate with SRE, Security, and Architecture to drive migrations, resilience programs, and compliance-driven changes while empowering engineering teams with CI/CD, observability, and automation improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infra roles operating production systems at scale.
• Hands-on with major cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure) and secure, cost-conscious cloud-native architectures.
• Strong containers/orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes) and multi-tenant clusters.
• Proven CI/CD and release automation experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm) and configuration management.
• Experience building observability stacks (metrics/logs/traces) to diagnose production issues.
• Programming/scripting in Python or Go, and Linux internals debugging.
• Ability to drive complex initiatives across teams and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
• Participation in incident response and reliability programs to improve resilience.
• Excellent collaboration, mentoring, and DevOps reliability practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and operation of scalable, secure infrastructure powering LiveRamp’s platform.
• Integrate AI assistants and LLMs into the SDLC to accelerate engineering velocity.
• Own production services end-to-end including capacity, performance tuning, and incident response with clear SLOs.
• Architect CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and release automation across dozens of microservices.
• Drive infrastructure-as-code strategy to ensure reproducible, auditable environments.
• Partner with product teams as a technical leader to optimize resources and reliability.
• Lead on-call rotations and improve incident management to reduce MTTR.
• Champion security-by-design and manage secrets with audit-ready infra.
• Evaluate and standardize tooling across logging, metrics, tracing, config, and workflows.
• Mentor engineers through reviews, talks, and feedback to lift DevOps standards.
• Define success metrics for reliability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
