Our client, an AI-driven company impacting the energy sector is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will play a leading role in designing, deploying and managing the infrastructure that supports cutting-edge AI solutions for the future of energy.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Kubernetes-based applications across both cloud and on-premises environments.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible.

• Implement GitOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to streamline deployments.

• Oversee infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure and GCP.

• Set up and maintain monitoring and observability solutions for containerized systems.

• Collaborate with software engineering teams to architect scalable and secure infrastructure.

• Handle production operations, including on-call support and incident resolution.

• Manage physical infrastructure, including provisioning bare-metal servers using iDRAC.

Skillset

• Must be a U.S. citizen due to Department of Energy export control regulations.

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering.

• Deep expertise with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration.

• Proven ability to work with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible, along with GitOps practices.

• Strong familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience with networking, monitoring and observability in containerized environments.

• Comfortable operating in secure, hybrid, and airgapped infrastructure setups.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong team-oriented approach.

• Willingness to travel periodically for client engagements and quarterly team gatherings.
