Our client, an AI-driven company impacting the energy sector is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will play a leading role in designing, deploying and managing the infrastructure that supports cutting-edge AI solutions for the future of energy.
Responsibilities
Design, deploy and manage Kubernetes-based applications across both cloud and on-premises environments.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Implement GitOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to streamline deployments.
Oversee infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure and GCP.
Set up and maintain monitoring and observability solutions for containerized systems.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to architect scalable and secure infrastructure.
Handle production operations, including on-call support and incident resolution.
Manage physical infrastructure, including provisioning bare-metal servers using iDRAC.
Skillset
Must be a U.S. citizen due to Department of Energy export control regulations.
At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering.
Deep expertise with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration.
Proven ability to work with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible, along with GitOps practices.
Strong familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with networking, monitoring and observability in containerized environments.
Comfortable operating in secure, hybrid, and airgapped infrastructure setups.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong team-oriented approach.
Willingness to travel periodically for client engagements and quarterly team gatherings.
