Job summary

Modernizing Medicine is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer 2 to ensure reliable, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. You’ll work with Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, Kafka and legacy Java apps on EC2, focusing on automation, cost optimization, and SRE principles.

You will lead IaC with Terraform, Helm, and Ansible; build CI/CD for Kubernetes and EC2 workloads; enhance monitoring with DataDog; and mentor junior engineers while enabling self-service platform features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 5+ years of Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE experience.
• Strong hands-on with AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, and Kafka.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible; scripting in Python/Bash.
