Alder is building an intelligence-first operating system for eldercare. We are seeking a Principal DevOps & Data Engineer to own the AWS platform and the data infrastructure.

You will ensure reliability, security and cost efficiency while enabling analytics features in a data-driven environment. This hybrid role collaborates with data and application engineers, touching EKS, Terraform/CDK, and a medallion-style lakehouse on S3 with dbt and Athena.

Formación

• 8+ years in DevOps and data engineering roles.
• Strong AWS multi-account, IAM, EKS, S3 and analytics tooling experience.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation) and CI/CD design.
• Production Kubernetes operations, observability and security focus.

Responsabilidades

• Own and evolve AWS multi-account environment and guardrails.
• Run Kubernetes (EKS) and GitLab CI/CD pipelines with tools and environments.
• Define reproducible, auditable infrastructure as code.
• Improve observability, alerting, reliability, cost and security.
• Operate the data lakehouse on S3 with dbt, Athena and pipelines.
• Build reliable data pipelines with data contracts and quality checks.
