Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) is seeking a Senior Manager, DevOps & Cloud Engineering to lead the cloud engineering standards, automation strategy, and DevOps practices for the organization.

This hands-on leadership role oversees infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and a team of DevOps engineers to scale MSG applications and workflows. You will collaborate with engineers across teams, Information Security, and operations in a 24/7 environment, driving modernization,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership or management role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (and Azure/GCP) cloud services and automation tooling.
• Proficient with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• Experience with containers/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• CI/CD tooling proficiency (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Experience with monitoring/observability and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the DevOps & Cloud Engineering team with a focus on ownership and collaboration.
• Define and evolve technology standards, emphasizing automation, security, and stability.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure design, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid software delivery.
• Contribute to cloud/DevOps strategy and stay current with industry trends.
• Manage budgets with a focus on cost optimization and operational efficiency.
• Ensure security and data privacy compliance across cloud projects.
• Monitor KPIs and metrics for the DevOps & Cloud Engineering team.
