Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a senior DevOps engineer to analyze, design, code, and test components of automated deployment pipelines across multiple application systems. The role focuses on creating fully automated CD processes for Linux environments and updating build/deployment scripts.

You will onboard and train developers on source control, CI, test automation, and deployment processes, promoting DevOps across Dev/Test, Staging, and Production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Professional level cloud certifications in AWS, Microsoft Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud.
• Architect level certification a plus.
• 12+ years of IT experience with a mix including: 5+ years cloud engineering.
• 5+ years experience debugging Microsoft Windows or Linux in admin/support/engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, and test components of automated deployment pipelines across multiple application systems.
• Maintain fully automated CD processes for multiple Linux environments and update build/deployment scripts.
• Support integration, operation, change management, and maintenance of CD tools and automation.
• Onboard and train developers on source control, build automation, CI, test automation, and deployment processes.
• Promote DevOps by enabling code movement through Dev/Test, Staging, and Production environments.
• Troubleshoot issues across the CI/CD pipeline and apply best practices.
• Provide cloud strategy oversight and lead cloud projects.
