Job summary

Worky is seeking an industry-proven, hands-on senior leader to own DevOps and Cloud Engineering architecture across the company. The role focuses on containerization, serverless architectures, cloud migration, and automated CI/CD pipelines to enable high-velocity software delivery.

The candidate will lead 3-4 engineers, guide technical designs, and drive a roadmap for on-prem to cloud expansion while managing budgets and compliance. Travel includes on-site work in White Plains, NY.

Qualifications

• <=140 chars: Requires Master's or equivalent, with strong DevOps/Cloud leadership experience.
• 15+ years as technical lead of large DevOps/Cloud team.
• 7+ years as tech lead for DevOps/Cloud engineers using Scrum/JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Owns 100% of DevOps and Cloud architecture and blueprint for continuous adaptation across the company.
• Leads a team of 3-4 engineers building CI/CD pipelines for on-premise and cloud.
• Drives on-premise containerization and migration to serverless cloud architecture.
• Manages product and sprint backlogs; accountable for delivery velocity and value.
• Hiring, coaching, and performance management for DevOps staff and contractors.
• Ensures security, policy compliance, and design standard adherence.
• Travel to White Plains, Fremont, and Cincinnati as needed.
