Job summary

Veriipro in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Lead to architect and drive cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and IaC. The role requires hands-on work with Terraform, Helm, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and AWS to deliver scalable and secure platforms.

You will design pipelines, automate provisioning, manage Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, mentor engineers, and collaborate with security, QA, and development teams to enhance reliability and release

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of IT experience with DevOps and cloud engineering.
• Proven experience designing enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Helm, and AWS.
• Ability to lead, mentor engineers and improve DevOps delivery processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub, and GitLab.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Develop, maintain, and manage Helm Charts for Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments.
• Manage and support Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms, including deployment and scaling.
• Leverage AWS to build scalable, secure infrastructure.
• Develop Bash and Python scripts to automate tasks.
• Establish DevOps best practices for source control, build automation, and release management.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infra teams to improve delivery and reliability.
• Implement automation and standardization to reduce manual effort and errors.
• Manage release activities, deployment schedules, and production support.
• Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement in DevOps processes.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, availability standards.
