Excella, a transformative technology firm, seeks a Senior DevOps Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CD solutions. Build automated pipelines, ensure system stability, and embed security into CI/CD workflows across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, or cloud engineering.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, Ruby, Go, Node.js, C#).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCI, or TravisCI.
• Command-line skills with Bash or PowerShell for OS management and related tasks.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Packer).
• Experience deploying and securing infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
• Experience creating, deploying, and orchestrating code changes using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, ECS.
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and continuous delivery best practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement version control best practices across code, configurations, and infrastructure.
• Develop deployment automation for infrastructure, applications, and security changes.
• Build and manage CI pipelines to enable rapid feedback on code changes.
• Apply trunk-based development to maintain short-lived branches and streamlined workflows.
• Create and manage test automation suites for infra and security features.
• Support test data management with security and data teams to optimize automated testing.
• Integrate security automation into DevOps pipelines with InfoSec.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to internal and external teams.
• Contribute to Agile planning and execution of DevOps initiatives.
