Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer II to own and scale VetConnect PLUS infrastructure. You will shape AWS/GCP deployments, lead the DXSE DevOps Squad, and mentor senior engineers while delivering reliable, scalable platforms for veterinary practices worldwide.

You will collaborate with software teams and business partners to automate deployments, build tools, and ensure observability with Datadog, GitHub Actions, and open source tech.

Qualifications

• 10+ years deploying full stack applications with minimal outages.
• Experience building, deploying, and configuring Java Spring stacks.
• Ability to code or script; strong collaboration across teams.
• Proven experience in Linux/Unix administration and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software teams to deploy and operate systems.
• Work with business partners focusing on outcomes.
• Leverage cloud experience to manage infrastructure.
• Build full stack from ELBs to databases.
• Automate and streamline operations and processes.
• Create and maintain deployment, monitoring, and operations tools.
