Job summary

IDEXX is searching for a Principal Platform Engineer to drive the design and architecture of their internal developer platforms. The successful candidate will lead initiatives across AWS, GitHub Enterprise, Terraform Cloud, and JFrog Artifactory while mentoring a team of Engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure software engineering.
• Subject matter expertise in CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Fluency in Python with strong code quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and architecture of platform capabilities across AWS.
• Mentor and coach Senior and mid-level Platform Engineers.
• Engage with senior engineers to understand platform requirements.
