Job summary

Nxt Serve in Union City, NJ, seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on Cloud and DevOps leadership. You will design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across Kubernetes, GitOps, Terraform, Azure, and Google Cloud, and drive CI/CD maturity.

Lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve software delivery, reliability, and security, while shaping architecture decisions and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or related fields.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and container orchestration experience.
• GitOps methodologies and deployment workflows experience.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code proficiency.
• Azure and Google Cloud Platform cloud experience.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline design and implementation skills.
• Cloud infrastructure architecture, scalability, HA, and security knowledge.
• DevOps tooling, automation, source control, and release management expertise.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud, infrastructure, and deployment issues.
• Technical architecture and solution-design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
• Architect and manage Kubernetes environments for containerized apps.
• Implement and maintain GitOps for automated deployments.
• Develop and manage IaC using Terraform.
• Design and support cloud solutions on Azure and Google Cloud.
• Build robust CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, deployments, and releases.
• Collaborate with Dev, QA, Security, and Architecture teams to improve delivery.
• Establish DevOps best practices for monitoring, logging, security, and disaster recovery.
• Lead and mentor DevOps engineers and drive automation initiatives.
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance across cloud environments.
