Job summary
AltexSoft is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalableAWS infrastructure and robust CI/CD pipelines for a cutting-edge SaaS platform in the automotive software space. You will own end-to-end cloud architectures, IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation, and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, collaborating with .NET teams.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and AWS Certification are required; remote work option is available and ongoing learning is
Qualifications
- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE or related role.
- Strong AWS services expertise (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation).
- Hands-on GitHub Actions; Jenkins is a plus.
- IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Docker and Kubernetes expertise.
- Familiarity with .NET Framework/.NET apps.
- Desirable MSSQL knowledge.
- Strong analytical and collaborative skills.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification mandatory or within onboarding period.

- At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or related role.
- Strong expertise with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation).
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions; knowledge of Jenkins is an advantage.
- Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with .NET Framework and .NET applications.
- Basic understanding of relational databases like MSSQL is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with experience working in collaborative environments.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is mandatory (or must be obtained within an agreed timeframe after joining).
Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and robust CI/CD pipelines. While direct database management isn't a primary focus, familiarity with MSSQL is a plus for understanding the broader system architecture.
