Job summary
Moog Inc in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Senior Development Engineering Technician to help develop, test, and qualify hydraulic and electromechanical products across aerospace and industrial markets. You will build prototypes, set up complex tests, and work with engineers through the product life cycle.
This hands-on role requires seven+ years of relevant experience, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to read engineering drawings.
Qualifications
- Seven or more years of relevant electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic experience.
- Combination of relevant work experience and technical degree accepted.
- Experience using hand tools, board-level soldering, and test instruments in a lab.
Responsibilities
- Perform prototype assembly for new, variant, and custom products.
- Prepare and fabricate complex electronic, hydraulic and environmental test setups.
- Conduct environmental and functional tests for new product evaluation and development.
- Assist in test procedures, data sheets, data summaries and test reports; participate in readiness reviews.
- Maintain a detailed log of test activities for issue resolution and test reporting.
