bpx energy is seeking a Lead Development Systems Engineer to act as the senior technical authority for the Corporate Land team. You will bridge business operations and technical delivery, shaping architecture, roadmap, and standards for scalable automation, data, and AI-enabled solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in data engineering, strong Python/SQL, and hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Palantir.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in software/data engineering, automation, or analytics.
• Leadership in architecture and end-to-end delivery of complex data/AI solutions.
• Strong Python and SQL with clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Palantir and data modeling.
• Knowledge of data architecture, ETL/ELT, APIs, governance, and CI/CD.

Responsabilités

• Serve as technical lead and solutions architect for Corporate Land initiatives.
• Own end-to-end delivery for automation, data, analytics, and AI products.
• Design data pipelines and analytical products across platforms.
• Establish engineering standards, testing, and observability practices.
• Roadmap development aligned with enterprise strategy and platform direction.
• Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement of deployed solutions.
