Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Development Solutions Consultant to design and deliver low-code and web-based applications for DoD clients, leveraging PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, and Dataverse. You will work directly with clients to map processes and translate needs into technical requirements while operating in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities include creating prototypes, wireframes, and validated solutions, ensuring mission alignment, and developing clear technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in software development, data science, or consulting.
• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD SECRET clearance.
• Experience designing and developing solutions using PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Dataverse, or similar low‑code platforms.
• Strong HTML, JavaScript, and web UI development skills.

Job Family:Management ConsultingTravel Required:Up to 10%Clearance Required:Ability to Obtain SecretWhat You Will Do:The Senior Development Solutions Consultant will develop solutions to automate processes and enhance applications and deliver streamlined experiences to DoW clients.Responsibilities will include:Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using Microsoft PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Dataverse, and related Microsoft 365 technologies.Build highly visible, mission‑impactful digital solutions for a large military command.Create modern applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Work directly with clients to understand business processes, map workflows, and translate needs into technical requirements.Operate effectively in fast‑paced and ambiguous environments, helping clients define objectives even when requirements are not fully established.Automate and improve existing operational workflows through custom applications, data integrations, dashboards, and process‑driven solutions.Draft clear product requirements and technical documentation from the user’s perspective.Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet mission needs and deliver measurable improvements.Create prototypes, wireframes, and solution mock‑ups for customer validation.What You Will Need:Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD \"SECRET\" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE \"SECRET\" or higher-level clearance are preferred.Bachelor’s degreeTHREE (3) years of experience in software development, data science or consultingExperience designing and developing solutions using PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Dataverse, or similar low‑code platforms.Demonstrated experience with HTML, JavaScript, and web‑based UI development.Ability to be onsite 4 days per week at Scott Air Force Base (hybrid schedule).What Would Be Nice To Have:Experience supporting DoWPrior work in product development, digital modernization, or custom software delivery.Experience working within Agile frameworks.Understanding of workflow automation, data modeling, and enterprise integration patterns.Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, especially with complex operational data.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools and environments.Strong ability to work with clients to capture requirements, interpret processes, and design automated solutions.Comfort operating independently with limited oversight and in environments with evolving or incomplete requirements.The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00.
