- Lead and manage design, preconstruction, and construction activities for assigned projects
- Manage multiple campus projects and maintain budgets, schedules, and status reports
- Create and communicate monthly development program and project updates for executive-level reviews
- Present information to support efficient decision-making
- Develop master development programs, campus design solutions, and capital budgets
- Manage entitlement and permitting requirements
- Implement and manage multi-phased site development plans
- Maintain and update campus master plans
- Write scopes of work for design, construction, and commissioning services
- Participate in procurement and project cost estimates
- Evaluate and level pricing proposals
- Coordinate equipment procurement and delivery with strategic procurement
- Coordinate submittals with site stakeholders

- Liaise with key QTS stakeholders and represent QTS in OAC meetings
- Build relationships supporting QTS's data center real estate leadership
- Support due diligence for potential new sites
- Enhance internal project management processes and protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience
- Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures
- Experience managing Lump Sum, Construction Management @ Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods from conceptual development through procurement to close out
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- US Citizenship required by law due to federal customer contracts
- MBA, Master's in Engineering, Management, or related field desirable
- Experience delivering mission critical data center facilities preferred
- Extensive experience managing MEP trades preferred
