Job summary

The Gift Officer I identifies prospects, creates fundraising strategies, and collaborates with Advancement staff to achieve annual goals while managing a 75–125 donor portfolio and supporting University priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least five years of professional fundraising experience with a track record of soliciting prospects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and standard applications (Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates prospect portfolios and recommends improvements to leadership.
• Delivers targeted fundraising programs and materials aligned with initiatives.
• Serves as a unit liaison to internal and external constituencies.
• Identifies donor relationships and solicitation opportunities to reach funding goals.
