Job summary

Mary's Center is seeking a Chief Development Officer to serve on the Executive Leadership Team and drive a growth-oriented development program. The CDO will expand philanthropic revenue, strengthen donor engagement, and align fundraising with Mary’s Center’s strategic priorities.

The role requires a strategic, hands-on fundraiser who can cultivate major prospects, collaborate with the CEO and Board, and partner with Marketing to enhance brand and donor communications across five locations in the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least ten years of progressive leadership experience in fundraising, development, or philanthropy, including leading comprehensive fundraising programs and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive, growth-oriented development program.
• Oversee major and principal gifts, annual giving, foundations and corporate partnerships, planned giving, campaigns, and donor stewardship.
• Partner with the CEO, Board, Marketing and Communications to engage donors, strengthen brand and external visibility.
• Build a sustainable pipeline of philanthropic support and expand private funding.
• Provide strategic leadership and hands-on fundraising, cultivating major prospects and preparing leadership for donor engagement.
