Job summary

The Partnership for Public Service offers a fully remote Senior Manager, Development - California role, based in California with a preference for the San Francisco Bay Area. You will cultivate and solicit high-net-worth individuals and foundations in California, manage about 40 funders, and collaborate with the CEO and board on major solicitations.

Candidates will bring 7+ years of fundraising or related experience, donor cultivation skills, and familiarity with prospect research.

Qualifications

• Seven years of fundraising, business development, or sales experience.
• Two years’ experience cultivating, soliciting and stewarding individual donors of $10,000+.
• Prospect research experience.
• Foundation grant solicitations of $50,000+ preferred.
• Familiarity with donor relationship management systems; Salesforce preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional/military experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to secure support from 40+ California funders, soliciting individuals and foundations.
• Identify and cultivate new California prospects via donor research and outreach.
• Stabilize and grow California donors/prospects; design cultivation events.
• Support revenue targets and strategies for California programs.
• Draft concept papers, grant proposals and reports as needed.
• Maintain donor data in Salesforce with proper notes and activity.
