Job summary

The Arc of Union County is seeking an Assistant Executive Director of Development and Marketing to lead a comprehensive fundraising program. You will plan, direct, and oversee strategies to secure resources and support the agency's mission, including donor prospecting, proposals, and campaigns.

Qualifications

• A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible fundraising experience.
• Proven success in engaging donor segments including individuals, companies, corporations and foundations.
• Management experience with ability to motivate and lead a team, set objectives, manage staff performance, and communicate goals to the board or volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate, oversee and implement a comprehensive fundraising program.
• Secure financial resources from individuals, foundations, corporations and other sources.
• Project contributions to the annual budget and report on gift revenues with progress updates.
• Design long-range strategic priorities and execute corporate and foundation proposal writing.
• Conduct donor prospecting and research; manage fundraising campaigns and events.
• Develop and market a compelling case for support.
