Job summary

The Arc of York & Adams Counties is seeking a Development Coordinator to assist the Associate Executive Director in planning and implementing fundraising and special events, as well as community relations.

This role involves coordinating Rail Trail 10-Miler, The Arc Ball and Auction, donor database management, sponsorships, major gifts, and grant research while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience in development and fundraising in a non-profit setting.
• Ability to engage donors and prospects verbally and in writing with sincerity and enthusiasm.
• Strong written and oral communication, time management and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement fundraising events and community relations activities.
• Maintain membership base and donor database including lists, donations, and events.
• Record and acknowledge contributions; provide grant research assistance.
• Attend development committees and assist with sponsorships and major gifts.
• Support third-party events and related community outreach as needed.
