Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Senior Manager, Development Accounting to lead the end-to-end financial management, accounting, and reporting for development, sales center, hotel, and refurbishment projects. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, control processes, and monthly reconciliations, partnering with project management teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will manage a team of managers and staff, drive improvements in reporting tools, and provide financial analysis

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Accounting or Finance, or related major or equivalent work experience.
• CPA preferred.
• 7+ years related work experience in accounting & finance.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Knowledge of real estate development or construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Manages accurate and timely project budgeting and forecasting.
• Reviews and supervises the processing of contractor / consultant payment applications and other project expenditures.
• Maintains a strong system of control within Development Accounting (SOX).
• Reconciles Development balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Leads accounting team in creation and utilization of improved reporting tools and processes.
