Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a successful fundraiser in a complex and dynamic environment such as a higher education institution or healthcare system.
• Capital campaign experience preferred, ideally in a higher education setting.
• Ability to determine fundraising priorities based on data, strategy, and organizational goals.
• Collaborative and accountable leadership with data-centered rigor.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% to work with advancement team.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for Institutional Advancement, including structure, staffing, goals, and professional development.
• Oversee all fundraising programs: annual, major, principal, and planned giving; alumni relations; corporate/foundation relations; donor communications; stewardship; prospect research; and operations.
• Lead a growing team (4–6 professionals) and cultivate a portfolio of leadership gift prospects through visits and communications.
• Plan and support fundraising activities for the Associate Deans and advance board engagement.
• Represent the College at events and with volunteers to raise visibility of advancement priorities.
