Job summary

Treaty Oak Clean Energy, LLC is seeking a Development / Sr. Development Engineer to join our Austin team.

You will apply risk- and economics-based design principles to conceptual design for utility-scale solar and storage projects, coordinating with engineering, real estate, and transmission teams and third-party consultants to meet development milestones. In this role you will manage scopes, schedules and quality, leverage PV case and other tools to optimize layouts and interconnection, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in solar, storage, or infrastructure design.
• Experience with AutoCAD, PVCase, ArcGIS, Google Earth.
• Experience with PVSyst, NREL SAM.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Define key site development risks prior to lease agreements.
• Lead 3rd party consultants for geotechnical, hydrological, environmental studies.
• Coordinate Development, Real Estate, and Transmission interactions for project success.
• Collaborate with Real Estate on site constraints to optimize layouts and diagrams.
• Manage risk timelines, permits, and milestones with cross-functional teams.
• Support ALTA survey coordination for Construction with 3rd party and Real Estate.
• Engage with investors, partners, and EPC during project execution.
• Lead electrical interconnection design for high voltage projects.
• Integrate AutoCAD templates and advance Treaty Oak standards.
