Job summary

The Salvation Army Western Division in Omaha, NE seeks an Executive Director of Development to lead all resource development, marketing, donor relations, and public relations across the division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing or related field required.
• Five to eight years of progressive senior-level development with fundraising success.
• CFRE or CAP required within one year of employment or by designation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary advisor on fundraising, marketing, and external communications.
• Lead divisional fund development, public relations, communications, donor relations and volunteer services.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans for resource development across the division.
• Oversee major gifts, planned giving, annual giving, and corporate/foundation relations.
• Represent Salvation Army in community relations and advisory boards.
