Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Development Accountant in Miami Shores, FL to own end-to-end accounting for a luxury real estate joint venture. You will manage acquisitions setup, construction draws, monthly closes, lender reporting, and audits, reporting to the CFO and collaborating with operations and construction leadership.

This is an on-site, full-time role requiring 3+ years real estate experience and strong Yardi skills.

Qualifications

3+ years real estate accounting experience.
At least 1+ year direct Yardi experience.
Experience with monthly closes, consolidations, and construction accounting.
Proficiency with Yardi; PayScan preferred; familiarity with Ingenious Build or Procore a plus.
Cap rules, depreciation, audits support, and tax coordination.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end accounting for a real estate JV, including acquisitions setup and construction draws.
Manage monthly closes and lender reporting; produce project P&L and balance sheet schedules.
Track costs by project and budget; monitor change orders and cost-to-complete.
Process AP/treasury; verify liens, W-9s, and vendor onboarding.
Coordinate audits, tax support, depreciation schedules, and fixed assets.
