Job summary

Skydio is seeking a Developer Productivity Engineer focused on Cloud Infrastructure to design and build scalable internal tools that improve how engineers write, test, and release software. You will shape infrastructure to enhance performance, reliability, and developer experience.

The role requires experience with cloud architectures, Terraform, Bazel, and proficiency in Go, Python, or C++. A BS in CS or equivalent is expected, and FAA Part 107 is encouraged for certain roles.

Qualifications

• Experience designing cloud infrastructure and scalable internal tools.
• Strong background in CI/CD practices and build systems.
• Familiar with Go, Python or C++ for tooling and automation.

Responsibilities

• Re-architect build and compute infrastructure for a delightful developer experience.
• Leverage containerization, remote caching, and orchestration to optimize builds.
• Analyze usage to improve time-to-insight in the build system and reduce onboarding time.
