Job summary

1Password is seeking a Developer Marketing Manager to lead lifecycle programs and developer-focused growth. You’ll own activation, onboarding, and retention for a technical audience, partner with DevRel, and optimize conversion across landing pages, email, and in-product messaging.

You'll work with engineers, product and design in a remote, async-friendly environment, applying analytics and experimentation to drive signups and long-term engagement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in developer marketing, lifecycle or CRM for technical products.
• Proven activation/retention lifecycle programs with measurable results.
• Hands-on with marketing automation and lifecycle tools (see above).
• Experience owning or improving website conversion, incl. A/B tests.
• Strong writing skills for developers and tech audiences.
• Able to work with engineers and developer advocates in a remote async team.

Responsibilities

• Build capture-to-activation flows for leads from conferences, meetups, webinars and social channels.
• Collaborate with DevRel to ensure events, talks and social moments have clear CTAs and post-event nurture.
• Turn social engagement into measurable traffic and signups via landing pages and offers.
• Design and run lifecycle programs across onboarding, activation, adoption, re-engagement and expansion.
• Define activation milestones (API calls, builds, integrations) and tailor messaging by behavior and tech stack.
• Own Developer Hub strategy, messaging & conversion; test copy, CTAs and signup flows; work with Design and Engineering.
• Write or direct tutorials, quickstarts, samples, changelogs and email content; build dashboards from first touch to retention.
