Job summary

1Password is hiring a Senior Developer Advocate to be the face and voice of our developer story, focusing on identity and access control for AI agents. You will build hands-on demos, create content, and grow a community around our developer offerings.

You’ll report to the Director of Developer Relations as an individual contributor, working in a remote-first environment with opportunities to speak at major conferences and influence open-source strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical roles (software/platform engineering, developer advocacy, solutions engineering, or similar).
• Comfortable writing real code for demos, not just narrating slides.
• Proven track record with X, YouTube or Reddit as a technical voice.

Responsibilities

• Build demos and videos showing developers how to use 1Password for securing AI agents, service accounts, and machine identities.
• Build a social presence on Reddit, YouTube and X with daily posting and authentic community engagement.
• Represent 1Password at major developer conferences (AWS re:Invent, KubeCon) with talks and demos.
• Shape open source strategy for SDKs, integrations, MCP servers/tools.
