Job summary

Vaco is seeking a Senior Lead Database Platform Engineer to head architecture and modernization of enterprise database platforms in a large-scale environment. You will operate at the intersection of database engineering, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, security, and automation to design scalable, high-availability database services.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership across MongoDB, Redis, and graph databases, with strong Azure-based architecture, IaC, and automation

Qualifications

• 7+ years in database, infrastructure, platform, or cloud engineering.
• Strong Azure cloud architecture background and experience with MongoDB, Redis, and graph DBs.
• Hands-on Terraform and Ansible automation expertise.
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infra deployments.
• Experience with IaC and platform engineering principles for scalable DB platforms.
• Design for high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery.

Senior Lead Database Platform Engineer

This role is focused on leading the architecture, engineering, automation, and modernization of enterprise database platforms across a large-scale environment.
