Upbound Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer III, Detection and Response to enhance its Security Operations capabilities. The role encompasses detection engineering, AI-assisted security operations, incident response, threat hunting, and security telemetry engineering across cloud, identity, endpoint, network, SaaS, and AI-enabled environments.

• 5+ years of security operations, detection engineering, and incident response.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and tune security detections as code, mapping use cases to MITRE ATT&CK and validating effectiveness.
• Build and operate AI-assisted security workflows, including investigation agents, automated triage, detections, and response playbooks with human checks.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting across identity, endpoint, network, cloud, and SaaS environments using threat intel and attacker techniques.
• Investigate complex security incidents, coordinate containment, root cause analysis, remediation, and post-incident reviews.
• Engineer and maintain reliable SIEM logging pipelines across cloud, identity, endpoint, network, SaaS, and AI-enabled environments.
• Validate vulnerabilities with assessment results and coordinate remediation while developing compensating detections.
• Partner with teams to assess monitoring requirements and improve detection quality and operationalize security capabilities.
• Develop security automation, runbooks, and contribute to operational metrics on detection and containment times.
