Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity/IT.
• Minimum 4 years of cybersecurity experience including monitoring, IR, or detection engineering.
• Experience administering Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR.
• Strong KQL skills and developing detection logic, dashboards, or queries.
• Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python, APIs, Logic Apps).
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, endpoint security, and regulated environments.
• Interest in AI-assisted tools to enhance security ops.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detection use cases based on threat intel and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Validate detections through testing, hunting, and red/purple-team exercises.
• Improve coverage, telemetry, and response processes with SOC partners.
• Design and maintain Sentinel playbooks, Logic Apps, and automation workflows.
• Support incident response with data analysis and evidence collection.
• Continuously improve monitoring, automation, and AI-assisted capabilities.
