Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Detailing Manager in Escalon, CA to lead detailing activities for structural steel projects. The role focuses on on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery, guiding a team of detailers and coordinating with project managers and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a engineering/management background, strong leadership and CAD skills, and a track record of delivering complex detailing work. This is an on-site, permanent position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2+ years in a detailing management role within engineering.
• Experience managing detailing schedules and controlling models.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and techniques.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving with strategic and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CAD software.
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailing schedules with project managers.
• Oversee model creation and control for all projects.
• Coordinate drawings and specifications with teams.
• Monitor detailing progress and keep projects on time and budget.
• Maintain quality control procedures to meet standards.
